Coordinated the repairs, refit, structural modifications, and inspections during 30 day foreign shipyard period maintianing quality assurance of repair practices and safety procedured. Optimized time and labor management returning the vessel to service ahead of schedule and under budget saving $2.5M.
Port Engineer (2001)
Staff engineer that directed the daily operation and maintenance for six crude oil tankers. Coordinated the daily operation, repairs, and inspections of tanker fleet. Implemented the installation of ISO-9000 required computer based management system for ease of auditing of spare parts, consumables, inspections and documentations.
