SUMMARY:

30 years engineering and design experience in electrical and electronic systems design, including; Facilities, Refineries, Shipboard, Submarine and Airplane systems, all associated machinery. Developed integrated control systems from concept (design or purchase specification) to production controlling mechanical and electrical machinery. Developed electrical loads analysis, ac one-line, power distribution systems, Lighting and associated calculations, magnetic controls, interface PLCs, Bonding and Grounding, and other systems as required. Developed technical purchase specifications. Involved and assisted in bid proposals and warranty. I have a Deep understanding of all machinery and electrical systems. Applied regulatory body requirements of CFR46, ABS, SOLAS, IEEE, IEC and USN. Competent in all necessary computer applications including Catia, WIRS, MS Office Applications, MS Spreadsheets Excel, Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Autocad (9-14, 2000-2005),Windows 95/98, 2000, NT, ME, XP Vista, operating systems.

• Maintained the status and compliance for the remote site in Chihuahua, Mexico for WHA and Formboard. All statuses thus far are meeting if not exceeding Boeing requirements.

• Designed all the electrical systems, controlled budget, and developed specifications for electrical systems.

• Designed electrical systems for ABS Tug, 140' including reduced voltage starting control of large motors needed for the tug and a variable frequency drives.

• Designed a power plant with two 99kw gensets.

Assigned various tasks involving power and controls, Purchase Specs and Test Memos, corrective action. Traveled extensively.

• Assignment: Cableway routing 248VDC propulsion, other system and routing wrap-up as directed. Specify routing and electrical system materials for a 40 foot Commercial ABS Submarine. Drafted in Autocad 2002, MS Excel and MS Word.
