LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
I am interested in exploring employment opportunities within your organization. The enclosed résumé will provide you with details concerning my background and experience.
I possess a Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from The United States Merchant Marine Academy. I am a problem solving leader who is a strategic thinker able to perform in challenging situations and definitely someone who can successfully multi-task on a consistent basis.
It is difficult for me to decide whether my educational background, the discipline learned through college football, my military service that has navigated me across every ocean in the world, the experience of providing search and rescue in down town New York in the aftermath of 911 and sitting off the coast of the Philippines providing aid to Tsunami victims, or the work ethic learned at home is responsible for my determined spirit on the job; so I will just assume it is the combination of all of them, and be grateful for the life lessons.
I have a comprehensive knowledge of the operational; expertise in the technical, and an awareness of the sales-driven marketplace, and have already demonstrated a dramatic impact on revenues in my previous positions. I have an entrepreneurial spirit, a no-nonsense work ethic, and the ability to inspire peers to effectively develop outstanding cross-functional relationships, as demonstrated in my professional achievements. I spend a great deal of time developing and nurturing corporate and vendor relationships, based on solid research, commitment, a results-oriented attitude and mutual trust.
With the goal of continuing a solid career path, I believe the time is right to explore opportunities where my professional background and experience can assist me. I know that I can make a significant contribution to your organization and look forward to the opportunity of talking with you in person.
Respectfully Submitted,
Jeremy J. Warren CTL
