MILITARY OFFICER
Assigned at 19th Infantry (commando) Battalion 8ID, PA and designated to the following positions;
Personnel Officer and Adjutant
Designated as Personnel Officer and Adjutant of the unit, responsible for the administration of all personnel functions and the formulation/implementation of unit Rules and Regulations/SOP’s and issues administrative orders.
The following are the scope of its duties and responsibilities;
? Ensured complete documentation of all personnel and maintains the updated inventory of skills, training and schooling program for career and specialization courses.
? Formulated laws, policies and directives with the most applicable rules that complemented the unit’s thrust in enforcing discipline, survivability, protection, efficiency and effectiveness of the troops in accomplishing the desired mission.
? Initiated programs and activities that enhanced the morale and welfare of the personnel through physical fitness, social, religious, livelihood, medical services and continuing education programs.
? Spearheaded the implementation and monitoring of all existing policies down to the lowest level of the unit through regular and spot inspection and recommends appropriate measures.
? Primary responsible for the investigation and recommendation with regards to personnel violations to existing policies and regulations of the AFP and civilian laws.
? One of the staffs during which the unit was chosen as “Best Battalion” of the Central Command and of the 8th Infantry Division, Philippine Army.
Intelligence Officer
? Conducted security survey, inspection and drills to all subordinate units and recommended appropriate measures to further fortify defenses and enhance survivability and protection of troops.
? Conducted counter-intelligence operations, documentations and investigations.
? Responsible in providing protection to VIP’s and secure vital facilities in the area.
? Organized and consolidated civilian assets to intensify and widen intelligence net.
Company Commander
Acted as the Commandant of the Headquarters and Headquarters Service Company, 19th Infantry Battalion, 8ID, PA whose main function is to support the line units in terms of personnel’s Morale and Welfare, logistics, trainings and other related activities.
? Crafted several laws in addition to existing laws with regards to camp and individual security measures as well as programs to enhance discipline of each personnel.
? Initiated several programs for physical fitness and social activities for personnel and dependents.
? Initiated programs and activities for moral/spiritual enhancement and socio-economic trainings and activities.
? Formulated guidelines to enhance motorpool operational readiness and efficiency programs.
Served also as Operations, Logistics and Civil Military Operations Officer in acting capacity as well as designated as V-Chairman of the Board in Discipline, Law and Order, Selection, Awards and Decorations and Program and Budget advisory Board.
CIVILIAN EMPLOYMENT
Employed with the Burlington Air Express as Accounts Receivable Coordinator / Account Analyst on April 2001 to September 2003, the company is a multi-national firm and one of the leading forwarders in air and sea services.
? Collected over 50% on accounts already due for write-off in a span of two months on the handled long overdue receivables.
? Conducted coordination and reconciliation of accounts with clients on issues relating to long overdue billings.
? Greatly contributed on the clearing and reconciliation of the deemed untraceable accounts in the accounting system.
? Chosen as “Best Employee” of the month several times and got to be the highest paid employee among contemporaries in A/R section within a very short period after regularization.
