Experience


International Narcotics & Law Enforcement/ Department of State – Police Advisor ( Afghanistan) Train & Mentor Afghan National Police Force Southern Region Afghanistan. Mentors/Advisors are individuals with appropriate experience and expertise to participate in an international effort to re-establish police functions in the Republic of Afghanistan. They must be retired, or recently separated sworn civilian police officers. Service with an International Police Mission allows officers to apply their job skills in dynamic environments that are experiencing intense cultural and political change, thereby enhancing their value to the agency and community. Assignment SIT Finance RTC South Kandahar, Afghanistan. Assigned to Mentor Systems Integration Team Finance. Assigned additional duties to mentor finance Afghan side RCC South. Operate on the objective of the Five Core System, with responsibility and accountability toward the goal and standard operating procedures aligned with oversight for police personnel, training, logistics, operations, finance, and internal investigations. Advisor duties not limited to:

Establishing police stations and monitoring activities

Determining the selection, screening and training processes for police officers

Demonstrating police practices and techniques used by democratic socities

Advising local police or criminal investigation methods and monitoring their activities

Working side-by-side with police officers from around the world

Reporting humanitarian violations

Training police counter-part in the five core system for law enforcement solutions.



State of Alabama – Police Officer Certified – assigned to several police agencies.



State of Louisiana - Police DWI Task Force - Lieutenant/Liaison Officer (LHSC Law Enforcement Liaison) for multi-jurisdictional DWI Task Force to enforce violations of DWI and illegal narcotics and drug use through investigations, high-tech surveillance, warrants, arrest and apprehension of known violators. Assigned to various departments as liaison officer with the task force: The Safe Communities Coalition (SCC) with Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, State of Louisiana Probation Office Domestic Violence Unit, HIDA and Drug Court of Criminal District Court Planned and coordinated mission agendas, Supervisor Lieutenant in charge FTO Program Team Leader Phase III . Formed partnerships between law enforcement, communities, business leaders, civic organizations and individuals in an effort to reduce the incidence of DWI, Narcotics through awareness, education and legislative change. This initiative was in part formed by the Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) Safe Communities Act.



Police Aviation Services – Pilot/Base Operations Manager - Conducted Reconnaissance, Survey and airborne surveillance and Airborne Law Enforcement, Helicopter AirScan Operations power-line, traffic control, marine and pipeline patrol i.e. 49CFR192.613 AOC/DOT Pipeline Continuing Surveillance. Provided airborne platforms for cameras and high-tech imaging instruments to collect data on water and wildlife resources for hydrology mapping of Louisiana Coastal Waters (USCG) United States Geological Survey Remote Sensing Unit.



New Orleans Police Department - Police Officer/Detective/Special Operation Division - Assigned to several major police districts handled police complaint calls for service. Assigned to Tactical Unit/Special Operations Division conducting criminal investigations not limited to traffic, street crimes and crimes against persons. SWAT team member, Mounted Patrol , FTO, Arson Investigations Task Force and Undercover Operations.
