Owner/licensed Investigator: General duties include client acquisition, sales, and business management. I conduct legal and ethical covert/overt surveillance designed to defend the client against fraudulent or suspicious insurance claims and provide attorneys with an investigator for criminal defense. I use ingenuity, persistence, assertiveness, good communication skills, and good interviewing and interrogation techniques to gather facts. In addition, I conduct background investigations and gather those facts into responsible, detailed chronological reports to assist insurance companies and attorneys in their criminal or civil cases.
My methods include surveillance techniques, interviewing and interrogation techniques, research, crime scene investigation, witness identification and location, fraud discovery, worker’s comp surveillance, auditing, evaluations of critical loss potential, customized safety programs, daily monitoring, and compliance for safety and security programs based on OSHA compliance and inner company safety/security policies and procedures. Additional work involved accident investigations with root cause analysis and testifying in criminal, judicial, and civil hearings along with client relations.

Safety Consultant: I conducted on site safety audits and assured compliance of MMS, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures for various offshore petroleum companies to include; Apache, Global Industries, and Chevron. I conducted all safety training and orientations for SSE programs, continuing education, daily safety briefings, and all JSA reviews. I provided onsite safety representation, investigated all incidents to include; employee non-compliance correction, employee accidents, near misses, work accidents, vessel and vehicle accidents, and related incidents. I prepared and generated detailed written reports and participated in daily safety meetings with corporate and contract safety managers. I also responded to all medical and emergency situations and treated injured employees as a nationally registered EMT.

HS and E Rep: I was an on board medic with the responsibility of conducting all phases of safety management to include daily safety meetings, compliance of OHSA, MMS, and company rules and policies, accident investigations, medical narratives, JSA, root cause analysis investigations, auditing, and vessel inspections. I reported to Superintendants, Global Industry’s Safety Managers and Chevron safety teams during daily safety meetings. I participated in hurricane reconstruction projects for both Shell and Chevron. I was also responsible for all safety training and compliance for all employees and SSE’s and emergency and disaster response.

Medic/Safety Officer: I performed all safety inspections and assisted risk management in compliance of state and county codes. I trained employees in company safety policies and procedures. I responded to all medical emergencies and provided medical attention to victims. I investigated and reported root cause and prevention analysis as well as testifying in civil suits. Some of my additional responsibilities included physical security at the casino and emergency response.
Scott County Sheriff’s Office 2000 through 2002
Deputy/Narcotics Supervisor: I was a state certified police officer charged with the duty of enforcing local, state, and federal laws. I supervised all narcotic investigations, cataloged evidence, and generated detailed offense reports. I testified as an expert witness in all criminal proceedings and civil seizure hearing. I also participated in the DEA’s HIDTA group and was a cross trained U.S. Customs Agent.
BC Rogers Food Services 1997 through 2000
Director of Security: I was responsible for five corporate processing facilities and their physical security in two states to include hiring, training, and managing all security personnel and corporate investigators. I directed and facilitated all internal and external investigations of asset losses, employee thefts, fleet accidents, and company safety policies. I wrote policies and procedures for corporate safety and security to include security operational policies, code of conduct, plant security policies, and investigation procedures. I was responsible for all of corporate security’s physical budgets, and operating cost. In addition, I conducted training in plant security and employee safety. I reported directly to the CEO and executive board of directors.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office 1992 through 1997
Deputy/Detective: I worked initially in the patrol division enforcing local, state, and federal laws. I responded to calls for service, effected arrest of offenders, and generated detailed crime reports. I was promoted to detective in the Juvenile Gang Unit where day-to-day operations included identifying and prosecuting crimes involving juvenile gangs in the New Orleans area. I got promoted to narcotics agent and worked in an enforcement group, undercover group, and later assigned to the DEA Narcotics Taskforce at the New Orleans International Airport; (Operation Jet-way) where I participated in short and long term investigations of persons and organized crime cartels that imported illegal narcotics into the United States. Other assignments included joining the special task force East Bank Street Crimes Unit where the day-to-day operations were to target and arrest street level dealers and users in the high crime areas of Jefferson Parish. I received numerous commendations and awards for my initiative and participation in investigations.
Biloxi Police Department 1989 through 1992
Police Officer: I was a state certified Police Officer who was assigned to the Uniformed Patrol Division which was responsible for typical police operations such as responding to calls for service, crime prevention, enforcing local, state, and federal laws and effecting arrest of offenders. I learned all phases of patrol operations including initial responder scene investigations, search and seizure techniques, motor vehicle accident investigations, crowd control, civil unrest situations, and emergency response and evidence collection procedures. I generated written, detailed reports and testified in criminal hearings. I was a field training officer that supervised new recruits and trained them to patrol operations after they graduated from the academy.
US Army National Guard
1st MOS , Telecommunications Operator: received 14 week intensive MOS training at Ft. Gordon Georgia at the US Army’s Signal Command. I learned all functions of setting up combat communications in a war time theater which specialized in receiving secret information of troop and equipment activity and dissemination. I graduated with required MOS skills.
2nd and 3rd MOS, Movements Specialist/ Cargo Specialist: OJT training at Higher Headquarters 204th Area Support Group, Jackson Barracks, Louisiana as well as MOS qualified Cargo Loading at the Port of New Orleans. I was responsible for the movements of troops from in country to foreign theaters of concern. I participated in three reforgers in Germany including return of forces to Belgium in 1994. I possessed the analytical skills and evaluation experience in troop and equipment movement to include all phases of transportation of troops and equipment, billeting, maintenance, supplemental, and policy program instructions. Our unit, being a higher headquarters, was also responsible for evaluating and training other units under our larger command and graded units on their performance of duties. I ensured the development and execution of programs to ensure maximum utilization of logistical resources of supplies, maintenance, transportation, fleet, and equipment procurements. Our unit provided guidance on logistical support at a command level to subordinate units. We provided thorough observations and analysis reports with input to properly monitor budgets and logistical operations. I assisted in the disposition of excess equipment, materials, and personnel to include hazardous waste materials consistent with established guidance, priorities, and training needs of subordinate units.
