• Performed security management for major corporations in both Fallujah and Baghdad, Iraq for Infrastructure, CEA and UXO operations.

• Supervised Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism efforts, and Personal Security Detail teams involving air, executive protection and convoy protection.

• Coordinated all fixed and rotary wing aircraft movement inside Iraq for corporate personnel.

• Responsible for entire Force Protection program, conducting vulnerability, risk and threat assessments on various types of facilities and camps.

• Performed Security Site surveys on multiple installations and oversaw physical security improvements.

• Promptly assimilated, analyzed and acted upon information on insurgent activities, immediately notifying the appropriate authorities via established policies for reporting incidents in a timely manner.

• Provided indoctrination training to all assigned personnel on the duties and responsibilities of their positions, as well as the overall concept of operations for the security and operation of specific sites.

• Provided daily status updates, briefs, and reports as per the company SOP.

• Oversaw 130-member Expatriate, Third Country and Local National guard force.

• Coordinated with US Army Corps of Engineers, Coalition forces, Iraqi government, and both International and National sub-contractors.

• Performed additional duties as the International Zone Local Crisis Management Team Leader providing crisis action planning (CAP) expertise in the formulation and execution of emergency procedures in response to terrorist attacks, natural and man-made disasters and evacuations.

• Coordinated on-site live fire ranges for both military and contractor usage.

• Instructed Self Defense to U.S. Special Operation forces, Force Protection personnel and Filipino nationals in Zamboanga City, Philippines in support of Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines while serving as the MWR/Banking supervisor.

• Managed a martial arts school with an average of 90 students, while training professional bodyguards in Self Defense and escort tactics.

• Authored several military and civilian related proposals dealing with “Commercial” Military Training Facilities, Anti-Piracy and Shipboard Defensive Training Courses.

• Provided Force Protection/Anti-terrorism, for field expeditions to various High Risk areas of the Philippines.



Security Officer-USA South Carolina Electric and Gas, Charleston, SC 1-1996 to 11-1996 Cardinal Health, Boston, MA, 3-1997 to 7-1997

• Performed all functions as a Security Officer, to include: Force Protection, Anti-terrorism, patrol, employee/visitor sign in and facility inspection at an energy transmission and production facility.

• Developed the physical security plan, key and lock control plan and emergency evacuation plan as a Security site supervisor at a major medical facility during labor unrest, implementing both electronic and physical security measures.



United States Marine Corps 1974 to 1994



Chief Instructor, Special Operations Training Group-III MEF 3-1992 to 7-1994

• Instructed a myriad of subjects in the special operations area.

• Responsible to the Commanding Officer for the instruction of over 500 Marines in counter-terrorism/anti-terrorism, force protection and personal defense techniques for high-risk personnel.

• Developed course curriculum for all amphibious related courses dealing with Amphibious Raids and Reconnaissance.

• Collaborated with all branches of the military service in coordinating training and operations.

• Coordinated all range-request for air, land and sea and performed duties as Range Safety Officer.



Operations Chief-Third Reconnaissance Battalion 3-1990 to 2-1992

• Responsible for the training and operational employment of a USMC special operations unit.

• Coordinated a multitude of exercises involving national level agencies in the Pacific area of operations.

• Provided professional and disciplined operations centers on multiple occasions during both national and international level operations, supporting the orientation, training and qualification of both Watch Supervisors and Standers.

• Marshaled the flow of information between reconnaissance teams and higher reporting headquarters.

• Submitted draft operational reports (OPREPs) and draft SOPs to higher headquarters as required.

• During periods of unrest conducted several threat assessments regarding force protection and CT/AT, on U.S. installations in the Republic of the Philippines.

• Oversaw the training of five task organized counter-terrorist units that deployed in response to real world threats.

• Oversaw the security and maintenance of classified material on a daily basis up to the Top Secret level.

• Coordinated all range request for air, land and sea and performed duties as Range Safety Officer.

• Served as unit Air Liaison Officer.



Reconnaissance Instructor-Landing Force Training Command 4-1988 to 2-1990

• Performed all duties as Reconnaissance Instructor at LFTCPAC, NAB Coronado.

• Lead instructor for all amphibious related subjects.

• Implemented “Explosives and Demolitions” training package as part of Basic Reconnaissance Course.

• Other duties included Tactical patrolling evaluator, HRST master, Jumpmaster and Diving Supervisor, Range SNCO/Safety Officer and Advanced Reconnaissance course Instructor.



Reconnaissance Marine-1st, 2nd and 3rd Reconnaissance Battalions 6-1974 to 3-1988

• Served in leadership positions ranging from team leader to platoon commander in reconnaissance units.

• Served overseas for 12 years during this period.

• Deployed to Beirut Lebanon (1976) to provide force protection, CT/AT, for U.S. personnel and installations.

• Scheduled multiple guard shifts in a variety of locations to include a classified weapons magazine.

• Served as an assistant operations officer for 13 months.

• Served as Known Distance 500 yard Rifle Range and 25 yard Pistol Range NCO for 12 months.

• Coordinated all range request for air, land and sea and performed duties as Range Safety Officer.
