Cruises were three months long,operated in similar fashion as Navy Ship are. Training Ship was run by the SUNY Maritime
College. Cruises were 1n 1984, 1985, and 1986.
Cadet Observer on APL Containership for one Month. Became
proficiant in deck operations,very familar with slow speed
diesel. 1986
Five intense day learning to operate a Fleet Tug at SUNY
facility.1986.
Able Bodied Seaman for SUN Oil Transport 1987.
Second and Third Mate for MEBA-D2 operated VLCC, product
Tankers, and Crane RO/RO in military usage.1987-1989.
Member US Navy's Merchant Marine Reserve Program 1987-1995.
