Experience
Guided Sea Training
The next phase of my education was the Guided Sea Training. As a cadet on the ship AIDA 4 which was constructed to be a training ship, I have accomplished many attributes. The qualities I have gained helped me understand more, the life style of a ship officer. Such qualities like adaptability, discipline, sense of responsibility, determination, endurance and the spirit of cooperation with international minds which are the indispensable tools for a ship officer. Sea training has also helped me to develop a sea going experience which is made up by the integration of the theoretical studies and practical studies.
Education
After graduating from high school with the IGCSE diploma from (Kuwait Int. English School( , I completed four years of Maritime studies in the Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport- Alexandria- Egypt. With a GPA (3.2 ) I obtained my Bachelor of Maritime Transport and Nautical Technology in February of 2007. I have also successfully passed my 2nd Mate exams according to the STCW 95 in October of 2007. Besides the certificates I obtained during my four year college (8 semesters) I have also completed several elective courses such as Marine Surveying, Global Maritime Distress Signals and Ship Security. I am very familiar with computer software (Windows, MS Office, Internet, ADIOS Pollution program and ECDIS) and electronic systems. More over, I can communicate in the English language very fluently in addition to my Arabic language.
Bachelors Degree
In addition to the basic studies, I have obtained more experience by learning new subjects like the IMO Conventions, Navigation Safety, Oil Tanker Familiarization, Statistics, Marine Survey and Marine Environment Protection. My graduation project was on the Economic benefits of the RO-RO Ships
