SDPO Chief Officer

Objective

Changed over from the convetional oil/chemical tankers and Gas carriers in 2011 when I obtained my DPO'S Unlimited licence. Since then I have worked in the offshore fields of Egypt, Qatar, Angola, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi.

Looking for better prospects offshore or onshore.

Education

Ship Master's (Unlimited) completed in 2007 from U.K., attended The Glasgow College of Nautical Studies for Chief Mates (2004) and Master's courses (2007). Did 2nd mates from The Australian Maritime College, Tasmania, Australia in 2000. Did The Nautical Institute Approved Dynamic Positioning (Induction) course on Konsberg (KPOS-II) and Alstom systems from Sir Derek Bibby Training Institute, Mumbai, India from 18th Aug'08 to 22nd Aug'08.

Certification

STCW'95 certifications-Master's (Unlimited) Certificate of Competency from U.K., GMDSS from U.K., Specialised Oil (U.K.) and Gas Tanker Safety (India), Ship Master's Medicare (U.K.), Advanced Fire Fighting, ARPA/Radar and Ship Handling Simulator(Management Level) (U.K.), ECDIS(Australia), Ship Security Officer (India), Bridge Team and Bridge Resourse Management (India), PSSR (Australia).
The Nautical Institute Approved- Dynamic Positioning Basic (Induction) Course from Sir Derek Bibby Maritime Training Institute, Mumbai, India.
