Experience


Presently working as Manager - Sales in Elcome Marine Service Private Limited, India since July 2002. Responsible for new business development and Sales & Marketing of entire ranges of marine equipments widely used in all types of vessels for all the classes (ABS, BV, DNV, RINA, Lloyds), oil & gas industries, Major and minor ports, Ocean research centers, defense organizations such as Navy & Coast and Maritime institutes.



Earlier worked with Tata Libert Limited, Stumpp, Schuele & Somappa limited, Digitial Electronics Limited and Megatrends Limited handling various type of IT/Electronics products in Sales & Marketing.



Key Achievements of Present & Past employments:



* Clinched deal with National Institute of Ocean Technology for sale of an equipment costing Euro 70,000.00 by providing various technical inputs to Scientists to disqualify other bidders technically. Interacted effectively with the director of NIOT and German principal M/S Innomar Technology for live demo in India onboard the vessel.



* Provided guidelines to install simulator complex (Software and Hardware) in National Institute of Port Management and bagged order worth US$ 1,28,000.00.



* When Tata Liebert was struggling to appoint distributor for Micro division on account of late entry into market for highly priced UPS, I finalised and appointed a Distributor in my territory who is one of the leading player in the market.



* An innovative idea of selling basic elements and zinc coated polyester films (basic raw material required for manufacturing capacitors) to medium size capacitor manufacturers has created a new dimension of selling NEL products. It generated additional revenue of four million rupees every year.



* Effectively managed supply chain of various types of springs to OEM customers in automotive sectors by getting firm commitments of delivery schedule based on their exact production.



* Generated order continuously for a product that is technically inferior and higher in price vis-à-vis latest one priced low when working with Digital Electronics Limited.
