Experience
February 2002 to September 2008 Sea School, St Petersburg, FL Vice President of Marketing Major Goal was to expand Sea School’s associations with Major Maritime Corporations to make them aware of Sea School US Coast Guard courses, locations, schedules and competitive pricing. Worked closely with Human Resources, Crew Chiefs and all other related employees of potential customers to encourage their sending employees to attend our Sea School courses. Provided diverse support functions for the President, including attending meetings and promoting Sea School. Represented Sea School at the OMSA quarterly meetings. Attended Job Fairs to recruit New Entry and Seasoned Mariners to attend our US Coast Guard approved Courses. Remained current on compliance requirements with Federal and State agencies for the USCG and TWC. Approved for collecting drug tests. Located and trained instructor personnel. Managed and maintained extensive travel and speaking schedules. Monitored and provided audit of company expenses always with an eye toward cost efficiency and savings. Made my travel arrangements as well as those for other executives. Taught H2s Courses and assisted in many other approved Courses. Wrote handbook on and taught Hazwoper courses. Facilitated ongoing and follow-up training for students who attended our US Coast Guard licensing courses. Developed and presented a Power Point Presentation on flotation devise water safety for the State of Louisiana Department of Health.

Renewing Merchant Mariner license; have completed STCW BST, CPR, FA, wrote a course book for Hazwoper course, have current passport, and will get a TWIX card.
