Objective


I would like to implement all safety aspects in a shipyar,like inspections,supervission,conducting audits,maintaining reports of injury and firstaid etc

BASIC JOB PROFILE:

• Responsible for the Safety in the Site including workers welfare and equipments dealt with in the site.

• Responsible for preparing permits for hot work, cold work, confined space entry and excavations.

• Conducting Basic Fire-Fighting classes for new workers.

• Conducting Safety Training for all workers and employees.

• Conducting classroom training for general staff on needed basis.

• To carry out safety inspections in order to observe the physical conditions of work and the work practices and procedures followed by workers and to render advice on measures to be adopted for removing the unsafe physical conditions and preventing unsafe actions by workers.

• Responsible for maintenance of emergency equipment.

• Imparting Fire & Safety Training including preparation of course materials/handouts


Education


a graduate of B.Sc. Fire Technology, in

addition i have also completed Diploma in Industrial Safety and OSHA 30hrs General Industries


Certification


PROFESSIONAL TRAINING ATTENDED:



• Undergone 31/2 years practical training in Fire Prevention, Fire Protection, Fire Fighting, Training Skills & Communication procedures and also attached to Chemical & Petrochemical Industries in Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services, Government. Of Goa.



• Also undergone 1month Industrial training in Fire and Safety section of the production department in Goa Shipyard Ltd, Government. of India, Ministry of Defence, Vasco-Da-Gama, Goa.



• Completed one day special First Aid course from Indian Red Cross Society, Panaji-Goa
