I have been involved in the acquisition, service and retention phases of National Accounts. Strong human relation and communication skills are an integral part of the process.

Position: Safety Manager / Traffic Work zone Supervisor



Employed by Walsh Construction August 2008 to present. Work in the heavy civil heavy highway area. Currently employed in the reworking of I 95, I 91 and RTE 34 Flyover to include the deck and superstructure of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge in New Haven Connecticut.

I am responsible for the daily implementation and administration of Occupational and environmental safety programs. Additional responsibilities include the administration and implementation of the maintenance of traffic.

I work closely with Project Management and Field Management to further develop and promote safety on all areas of the site. The activities include heavy equipment, excavation, trenching, bridgework, concrete work, road building and other activities related to the project. The environmental control involves control for erosion, containment and disposal of contaminated soil.

Program development training and outreach activities are also a large portion of the position.

Position: Contractor Services Representative



Employed by Home Depot, March 2008 to August 2008. My duties included acquisition and service of contractor accounts involved in residential and commercial construction. As a representative I am responsible for guiding the account and consulting with the account to develop the needed equipment and supplies for the intended job. I work with the account to review plans and develop job specifications. In addition, I also provide consultation on products and procedures, which may aid in the completion of the contractors goals in a timely manner.



The Hartford Loss Control

Position: Senior Consultant / National Account Manager



Employed by The Hartford Loss Control from 2004 to February 2008. My duties included consultation with large national accounts regarding the development and implementation of health and safety programs policies and procedures designed to reduce or eliminate exposures and loss. I was also involved in the formulation of training programs and the facilitation of these programs designed for management and all employees.

My responsibilities included safety audit functions, training, overall account management as well as marketing, safety consulting and review of regulatory practices.

Data was delivered in concise reporting to the accounts for their review. The adoption of the suggestions was intended to guide the client in a path to reduce exposure, increase productive capacity and improve the overall safety and health environment.

In addition to routine safety consulting, I have also been involved in numerous training activities involving both standard and customized programs for Upper Management, line Management and hourly employees. My experience has been in the safety and health field as well as in the area of fire protection and building construction.

I have and continue to work with companies on issues associated with OSHA, NFPA, NEC and

EPA such as machine guarding, Supervisory responsibility, Process management, electrical safety related work practices, hazardous energy control, confined space entry, hazard communication, industrial powered vehicles, process safety etc.

Some of my fleet work consists of defensive driver training, DOT regulations for Class II etc and I.
