Monitored condition of brake rigging and air lines.
Interpreted signals (hand,lantern,non-signaled territory) and convey to engineer via handheld radio. Reduce stretch braking, eliminate power braking, shutdown/isolate unneeded locomotives. Well versed in train orders, bulletins, clearances, special instructions, NORAC regulations. Switched several customers (RCO) according to waybills.
