Oil Field Testing Services – Oil and Gas Plant Process Inspector Top Side
I have been employed by OTS as a Plant Process Inspector Team Leader. I’ve had the opportunity to work in multi divisional roles. I have an understanding of WSE, Written Schemes Of Examination’s for multiple Offshore Oil and Gas companies like Exxon Mobil, Shell and Perenco to name a few. These cover HSE procedures, Oil and Gas Reporting procedures, Inspection Methods, Permit to Work, Including Communication to Onshore Integrity Engineers, Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Procedures associated within the Offshore Platform Piping and Structural inspection and Survey Sector.
As well as a competent NDT Technician I am aware of the importance of calibration, the use of reference standards and acceptance criteria, Fault finding, Familiarization of technical content, and as a PCN Level 2 I have the ability to direct junior members of staff. I have been introduced and been acquainted with the P448 Steerable CCTV tractor and CCTV Baroscope inspection cameras used in vessel entries. I frequently use our EX rated electronic cameras and devices used in our ROV department
Oilfield Testing Services Utilises the Video Ray Class 1 ROV of which I have the opportunity to use on riser inspection within riser conductors on stand alone NUI satellites.
I have had the opportunity to work on installations such as Jack ups, Semi Submersibles and Offshore Wind Farms.
Primarily at present I am utilised in the Southern North Sea as a NUI (Normally Unattended Installation) Integrity Plant Inspector in the Inde and Leman gas fields for Perenco UK.
