Maritime Program Director



• Oversee overall management of Maritime program, services offerings, and client relations which generates $2.6M of overall revenue

• Worked closely with P&I Clubs, Brokers, Adjusters, Shipowners, and Port Agents to coordinate medical care for injured or ill crewmembers

• Managed client implementation and establish process, procedures, and protocols for each HSI department

• Assisted with marketing activities which includes maintaining knowledge of issues which effect the maritime community, development of marketing campaigns, and oversee production of quarterly e-newsletter

• Additional duties include provider network development and contract negotiation

• Identified opportunities for new product development that enhance revenue for HSI including up sells and client retention

• Maintained responsibility as primary contact for Maritime clients including onsite visits and attending conferences pertinent to our business

• Identified opportunities to increase client’s usage of HSI services

• Assisted with the adjudication and negotiation of medical claims for crewmembers covered under Jone’s Act and/or International Admiralty Law

• Developed reporting criteria and communicate with clients according to the prescribed protocol

• Managed Client Relationship Management schedule

• Assisted with formulating responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs)



International Claims Manager



• Served as Case Manager to adjudicate medical claims on behalf of foreign governments, travel insurance carriers, assistance companies, and self-insured employers

• Served as primary account representative to International and domestic payors which includes email communications, telephonic communications, and onsite visits

• Assisted New Business Development Manager with implementation of new clients

• Assisted with developing responses to all “Requests for Proposals” or RFPs
