My experience as a Navy diver in the various Naval Special Warfare programs has provided me with the knowledge and expertise of working in hazardous conditions along with an understanding of logistics, support of any mission profile.

Support of current commercial and government aerospace programs applying thermal environmental science simulating high altitude/space conditions. Monitor associated test computers and equipment for data acquisition. Perform fabrication duties in lieu of testing criteria parameters to engineering specifications.

Space Simulation Technician/Engineering Labs

Responsibilities included:

Fabricate, test space systems and spacecraft utilizing the space simulation environments. Environments included cryogenics, vacuum, thermal, underwater and structural static testing. Worked with NASA and other aerospace engineering customers. Supported spacecraft launch operations at Cape Canaveral Space Flight Center. Used government QA programs and inspection procedures. Co-authored test specific documentation and reports.

SEAL Delivery Team One

Responsibilities included:

Perform all launch and recovery of SEAL Delivery vehicles from the Dry Dock Shelter (DDS) on board specified submarines. Assistant Lead Petty Officer to a 20 man dive team. Manage maintenance and preservation of DDS with associated systems. Supervise and assist during on load and off load installation of DDS on board specified submarines. Provide guidance and scheduling of extensive QA Program along with normal Navy Diver duties and responsibilities.

Skils


Perform underwater salvage, recovery, repair and maintenance on ships and submarines. Search for and recover downed aircraft. Conduct harbor clearance operations in a combat environment for the removal of vessels and objects obstructing port access waterways and facilities. Provide assistance for military, federal, state, and local civilian law enforcement agencies in diving operations and procedures. Use state-of-the-art diving equipment including open and closed circuit SCUBA, surface-supplied and deep submergence, saturation diving equipment and systems. Maintain and repair diving equipment and systems. Participate in research and development of new diving techniques/procedures. Conduct operations in support of Naval Special Warfare and Explosive Ordnance Disposal missions. Conduct submarine rescue operations. Maintain required forms, records, correspondence, and files. Duties include performing and supervising hyperbaric chamber operations, open and closed circuit SCUBA diving, explosive demolitions, and small arms proficiency.
