To share my past experiences as Radio Officer in ocean going vessel mostly on tanker and Radio Operator in semi-submersible drilling unit. (MODU).

Radio Officer Crude Tanker Ship
?Responsible in the emission of outgoing email/fax/telex messages to respective charterers, ship’s owner, and agency in where the vessel is to load and discharge her cargo in aid of sophisticated Globewireless email system, Inmarsat B/C/Mini-M of Japan Radio Co. (JRC) equipments.
? Attended the distribution of Incoming Email/Fax/Telex message to the respective departments i.e Master, Chief Officer, Chief Engineer and Electrical Officer.
? Supervised the maintenance of ship’s navigational and communication equipments onboard weekly and monthly as per International Safety Management and company policies. Implemented training of GMDSS To Deck Officers in compliance with Company Policy and Intenational governing rules and regulations.

?Arranged Passengers Manifest with details requires by pilot.

?Duly responsible in daily transmission of email/Fax messages to respective offices like Rig Managers, Company Personnel and Pilot Office.
?In-Charge in daily self test of radio equipments (GMDSS) as required by Laws and Port State Control.
?Informed the Helicopter Pilots required information about weather conditions in the rig area like wind direction, barometric pressure, and wind force prior landing the Rig Helipad.
