Radio Electronics Officer

Objective


US Licensed Rado Officer, work as Radio Officer or training to be a deck officer, with the needed sea time.


Experience


Attended Elton's maritime, radio/electronics Ofc. Academy in 2009, Santa Rosa California. FCC licenses with radar endorsement and full STCW-95 training. Registered with the American radio Association union, AFL-CIO, but have not been assigned any positions.

2004 to present, university instructor at the University of Phoenix, both classroom and online, both undergraduate and graduate classes.

31 years of law enforcement experience, and that includes six years of law enforcement while in the US Marine Corps. Retired from the Tukwila Washington Police Department, 2006 after 22 years of service.


Education


Bachelor's degree in organizational management. Northwest University Kirkland Washington. Master's degree in organizational management, University of Phoenix, Western Washington campus. Doctoral program, University Phoenix online, program educational leadership. All academic classes completed, dissertation still outstanding.


Certification


Merchant Mariners documents, radio officer.

Second-class radio telegraph license

general radiotelephone license.

GMDSS operator's license

GMDSS maintainer's license, all licenses with radar endorsements.

STCW-95 training to include firefighting, first-aid CPR, personal safety and personal responsibility.


Skils


I am a maritime radio officer, amateur radio operator K7LBD, and a retired law enforcement officer, and currently a graduate level university professor. I am a leader, manager, supervisor, educator, technical expertise and electronics knowledge. I'm seeking a position where my skills and abilities would be most useful.


 


Valid and current US passport, US TWIC card and had the ability to travel. Closest international airport is SeaTac, Seattle Tacoma.
