I am an individual with a background in electronics, including both the Commercial Radio License (GROL) and amateur radio license interested in pursuing a career in maritime electronics, radio communications, or related area.

Professional Experience:
Dresser Operations / Becker Precision February 2007 – present
At Becker Precision I started as a laboratory assistant, where I was responsible for creating owners’ manuals for custom designed equipment for our customers. I was also involved with documentation approvals, and as I gained experience, also became responsible for MTR (Material Test Reports). After my first year, I was promoted to CAD drafter, where I was responsible for 2D drawing modifications using CADKey, and Bills of Materials using BPCS, in addition to MTR duties.
Dynapace 1997-2001
At Dynapace I was involved with the design and documentation of Conveyor systems for several corporations including Motorola, Intel, and others. Initially responsible for drafting (AutoCAD version 14) in the electrical department, subsequent responsibilities expanded to include electrical Bills of Materials and technical writing for the documentation department (custom owners manuals for the conveyor systems).
BRK Brands (First Alert) 1994-1996
I was responsible for the development of RF-linked smoke alarms, as well as the analysis of smoke alarms. I also provided engineering support in the form of drafting (AutoCAD), log (record) keeping, price quotes, creation & improvement of test fixtures, etc. I also supervised up to three individuals from the lab assistants’ pool.
Motorola, Inc. 1984-1993
Promoted to laboratory technician after my first year. In Corporate R & D I was involved with several facets of engineering support including (but not limited to) protoytping, testing, record keeping, and PCB development.
Professional Publications:
More than twenty-five manuscripts describing my own design ideas have been published in several technical journals having world-wide distribution. Manuscripts often include spreadsheets, drafting, & technical photography. A list of titles as well as copies are available upon request.
