Shipping Coordination Center Pacific is a unit that is presently co-located with the Untied States Coast Guard Maritime Intelligence Fusion Center (MIFC) and directly supports the Joint Forces Maritime Component Commander (JFMCC) for NORTHCOM.
The primary mission is to provide JFMCC accurate real-time tactical maritime movement data for merchant shipping, specifically vessels of interest within the Pacific area of responsibility.

My main responsibilities as Assistant Navigator were to navigate ships in and out restricted ports, and in charge of the watch-to-watch navigation and the maintenance, correction, and preparation of nautical charts and navigation publications.
