Roles & Responsibilities
Perform quality inspection activities on Structural steel fabrication and Installation in accordance with the Project Quality Plan.
? Raw material receiving inspection according to specification and standards.
? Verification of welding consumables according to WPS.
? Reviewing documents like WPS, PQR, WPQ, MTC etc.
? Inspection during all stages of fabrication, welding, dimension and verification as per Drawing/client project specifications.
? Witness /Review the NDT (UT, MPI, DT) and interpretation of radiographic films.
? Monitoring all Inspection activities and preparing the report.
? Perform inspection during Installation activities of Pipe Bridge & Access platform as planned on Inspection and Test Plans.
? Perform witness inspections of Bolt tightening, Leveling of Pipe Bridge & Access platform etc.
? Carry out sub-contractor Inspection.
? Coordinate with third party & Client Inspection.
? Preparing the master system punch list and verify the RLM/ AS-BUILT Drawing etc.
? Having Knowledge and experience in SAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW welding.
? Familiar with Code& Standards (ASME, AISC, BS 5950-2, AWS D1.1, etc) and Precision Measuring Instruments.
(2) August 2007 to December 2008 As a QA/QC Inspector in GULF STEEL INDUSTRIES FZC [Member of Arabtec holding company], Sharjah, UAE.
