Experience
Having more than 8 + year’s experience, out of which 7 + year’s in Gulf and 01 year in India.
• Working as a QA&C Electrical Inspector at M/S Kharafi National, Kuwait from 10th June 2008 to Till Now.
• Worked as a QC Inspector - Electrical at M/S Al - Hussaini Co. from 6th April 2006 to 23rd May 2008 at Saudi Aramco Berri Gas Plant, Saudi Arabia.
• Worked as an Electrical Foreman at M/S Al Jaber - LTA Engineering & Contracting LLC from 15th July, 2003 to 3rd July, 2005 Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Worked as an Electrical Supervisor at M/S Elmatics Engineers Pvt. Ltd. from 05.06.2002 to 30.05.2003 at Our HPCL, Chembur and Mumbai.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read and review of engineering drawing such as lighting, power, DB’s schedules, earthing and lightning protection systems, wiring details, electrical schematic, single line diagram, Piping and instrument diagrams.
• Review of QA/QC Documentation, confirms accordance with relevant International Standards.
• Review of Inspection & Test Plan, Quality Control Plan, Material Submittals, Method statements, Inspection reports, certificates, test results and reports.
• Monitor and implementation of the approved site Quality Control Plan.
• Inspection of site construction works and Incoming materials to ensure conformance to project specification, Approved Drawings, Approved Materials, ITP, QCP and applicable local and international standards and Codes.
• Surveillance Inspection of Installation, Testing and Pre-commissioning of Transformer, Motor, Generator, Isolator, Push Button, Junction Box, DB, MDB, MCC, PCC, VFD, Control panel, LV/MV panel, Lighting and Power system, UPS, Battery bank and Battery Charger, switchgear and feeder panel etc.
• Identifying bottlenecks and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure proper timely construction.
• Inspection of earthling work such as Cad welds joint, Earth Pits.
• Inspection of lightning Protection conductor and Cad weld Joints.
• Inspection of cable tray, cable ladder and trunking, and fabrication, erection of frames and supports.
• Inspection of all types of PVC and GI conduit and its fittings.
• Functional Tests of electrical equipment.
• Perform FAT & SAT of electrical equipment with vendor.
• Inspection of Cable trench, Excavation work for power and control cable.
• Inspection of Power and control cable lying, cable pulling, cable dressing, cable glanding, cable crimping, cable termination, cable identification and tagging.
• Witness & Inspection of LV/MV/HV Cable Continuity and Insulation Resistance, Hi-Po Testing.
• Witness & Inspection of LV/MV motor, insulation resistance, winding resistance, solo run testing & pre-commissioning activities
• Knowledge of Sub-Station, electrical room, switchgear and control room activities
• Preparation of snag list, punch list, follows up of rework and involvement of modification activities.
• Have a working knowledge and understands of ”ISO 9001:2008 standards”, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA 70 / NEC, IEC, IEEE, BSI, SAES and industry standards.
• Participate in the site internal and external site audits.
• Co-ordinate with Client, Contractor, Vendor and Third Party.
• Maintain inspection reports and related logs for check list, materials and drawings.
• Initiate and follow up for Non Conformances related like NCR, NCN and CAR etc.
• Attending QC Monthly meeting with QC Manager and QC Engineers to resolve all Quality related issues.
• Familiar with all relevant safety induction like 100% Fall Protection, Cold, Hot and Confined Space Entry Permit, LOTO and Pre-Commissioning priority etc.
• Able to communicate at all levels within the organization, help to identify problems and propose solution to improve good engineering practices.
• Able to take self decision and work on his own initiative within the company guideline, issue, specification & project requirements.
Education
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DE&EE) from Govt. of Karnataka, Board of Technical Education, Bangalore. (Attested by Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD and UAE Embassy New Delhi).
Certification
Diploma in Computer Programming and Application.
