JOB SUMMARY:

Working as QC/ER welding inspection and fabrication planning structural and piping project for H108 & H109 BUE’S CUTTING BARGE. Perform welding inspection for before, during and after welding, handling inspection documents, welding control documents, testing report according to acceptance criteria of API, AWS and CWSIP.

Handling project and l co-ordinate with clients and third party inspection authority’s person and management.

Prepare Daily fabrication inspection schedule and hold point planning schedule, material inspection preparation with project drawing.

Follow and inspect shipyard safety procedure and documents.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Perform visual fit-up Inspection, dimensions, alignment specifications, joint geometry, and tack weld as per AWS codes and specification procedure.

• Witness and interpret NDT records, interpret Radiographic films and co-ordinate for perform test and responsibilities to maintain test and welder performance records.

• Perform final component inspection, checking elements and documents and checking cracks, undercut, overlap, weld reinforcement, dimensional measurement, checking weld cover pass cleanliness and finishing method.

• Review material certificate and POD and its mechanical and chemical composition, checking material surface as per wps and codes.

• Review project drawing, AFC drawing WPS, approved supplier welding procedure, Test and approve PQR, check and review inspection test plan and prepare inspection check list.

• Work for prepare final inspection and documentation.

• Co-ordinate and liaise with contractor and customer project inspector and managing department.

• Review and witness Welder performance test, prepares documents.

• Perform infection to detect weld defects are crack, slag inclusion, each weld beads in multi pass welding with this verify WPS and welding procedure.

• Verify incoming pipe materials, joints components material, and size and length accordance specification documents.

• Verify material labels, purchase order, WPS, PQR and codes, specification.

• Co-ordinate with clients and contractor inspector, prepare inspection plan and documents, prepare check list form and maintain records.

• Read and interpretation project drawing dimension, weld symbol, weld configuration, pipe material grade, identify installation and rooting location regarding to customer and contractor technical requirement.

• Perform visual inspection for pipe fit-up, clamps and fixtures position, alignment position, cleanliness regarding with codes and standards.

• Co-ordinate and prepare NDT requirement, evaluate results and maintain records.

• Examine final weldment as per codes and standards, asses the suitability weldment with provided customer requirement.

• Prepare daily fabrication progress report, project report, and man power control records.

• Perform inspection for plate fit up, welding sequence, tack weld, jigs and fixtures ,alignment and weld distortion ,liaise with customer approve fit-up inspection.

• Perform inspection during welding to identify discontinuities and correction it .monitoring welding procedures and welder performance.

• Co-ordinate and witness welding activities during welding and perform visual inspection during to arrange, conduct, repair welds and verify welder qualification test.
