Job Responsibilities:
? Review of bid documents to identify specific areas of concern or non standard requirements. Review of Project scope of work, project specification, drawings, NDT procedures as per Project Specification and Standards, welding documents like. WPS, welder qualification, weld Plan. Preparation and submission of Inspection Test Plan’s / Activity Control Plan’s for assigned projects. Evaluation and Interpretation of NDT / Survey / Corrosion test results.
? Execution of all required Inspections within the assigned project and recording the results of inspections. Coordination and control of inspectors and inspection services (including sub contract services) for all discipline inspectors within assigned projects. Analysis of project production activity with regard to quality and quality defects and reporting the analysis to the Quality Manager. Liaising with and advising production supervision and project management on matters related to Project Quality and error prevention.
? Involved in inspection of Mobile Offshore Drilling Units during new fabrication & refurbishments. Carried out QA/QC activities during new fabrication of Spud cans, Legs, Cantilever, sub base, substructure, Heli deck, Accommodation, Hull structures including preload, voids, diesel, drilling water, brine tanks, all types of process piping like high pressure mud, cement, diverter, BOP, drill water, fire water, sprinkler, raw water, bilge piping as well as crane inspection etc.

Present items for inspection as per inspection test plan and as per agreement existing (verbal or written) and prepare, verify and issue all reports including inspections by class and owners and obtain their signatures for acceptance. Witnessing during welding procedure / performance tests, Mechanical tests. Witnessing during Hydro Tests, Pneumatic Tests, and vacuum test. Witnessing repair removal, Checking of Welding Parameters. Approval of Welder qualification. Monitoring activities pertaining to QC role. Coordination, Review and submission of final Quality related documentation.

Selection of proper material, WPS, welding consumables during repair works. Review of radiographic films. Review drawings, specification with a view to check material requirements. Painting inspection of static equipments and process piping as per applicable specifications. Coordination with other departments, consultants. Inspection of pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, boilers, storage tanks, Horton spheres, process piping, structures during shut down and maintenance. Visual inspection for external corrosion. Selection, execution, review of proper NDT methods to monitor corrosion, cracking. Recording all inspection observations and recommendation for corrective measures. Witnessing pressure test and certifying pressure relief equipments during plant shut down. Job Responsibilities:
? Involved in inspection of onshore and offshore Oil & Gas plants during new fabrication, in service, shutdown and maintenance
? Inspection of stationary equipments, pressure relieving devices, process piping, structures during shut down and maintenance. To check condition of pressure relieving devices, prescribe repairs as required and witness relief pressure setting. Inspection for specific types of corrosion and cracking. Corrosion monitoring of process piping. Selection of proper NDT techniques for effective monitoring of corrosion.
