• Seaboard Ship Management is an international ocean freight transportation company operating 21 ships around the globe. My current responsibilities include supervising and coordinating day to day activities of the Purchasing Department for the Ro-Ro fleet, negotiating pricing agreements for lubricants, chemicals, welding supplies, spare parts for main and auxiliary engines, in the amount of, 5 million dollars a year, arranging services worldwide and purchases for two overseas floating power plants in the Dominican Republic.

• Manager for a family owned horticultural Export Company. Primary responsibilities included purchasing ornamental plants from various farms/growers, negotiating prices and exporting to distributors and/or brokers, in the United States and Europe.
• Debrastian was also active as a local Agent for a U.S. based company offering international telephone services at reduced rates to Costa Rican companies. Responsibilities included management of two office staff and sales personnel; also handled collections of monthly billing.

• Bandeco/Del Monte Fruit Co. is one of the largest international fruit growers and distributors, in the world. Was responsible for export and transportation of agricultural products, from local farms in Costa Rica, to the United States and Europe, via air and/or ocean transport. Additionally, responsible for managing the maintenance of the company’s fleet of over 150 refrigerated trailers and for importation and distribution of packing materials.
