The position held at the most current place of employment dictated great responsibility for all 10 locations nationwide. As purchasing manager, I processed each and every customer order for all locations, and worked closely with installers and technicians daily to insure that their materials and equipment were ordered timely and accurately as to not create delays in delivery and payment. I reported directly to the President of Sales with equipment changes, suggestions, and new product. I facilitated the purchasing process by establishing very strong bonds with all vendors and related staff in order to insure accuracy of orders and timely delivery of merchandise, relationships I have maintained to date. As the manager of the stockroom staff, I revamped and fine-tuned the inventory, shipping and receiving process so that all orders were received and delivered to the correct order number. In this managerial capacity, I created a light, team-spirited work environment for all staff and was always available to assist in any way possible. Having owned and operated my own marine repair business, I adopted valuable skills and knowledge that are easily transferred to any company. I am extremely loyal, dedicated, and go above and beyond for those I represent.
