I have worked on both surface and subsurface marine propellers. Ranging from receiving a propeller to packaging it and all duties in between. Such duties include but are not limited to performing detailed measurements using standard and precision measurement tooling such as a pitchometer, micrometer, veneers, and various GFE inspection gages to .001 resolution. I have documented visual and dimensional inspection data for the customer report. Grind, disc, and polish propellers to specified surface finish requirements. Also qualified to perform and interpret dye penetrate testing. I also perform balance and fit propeller hub bores including gage measurements. Can operate oxy/acetylene torch equipment for heating, cutting, for stress relief operations I have preformed hot and cold straitening of minor and major bends and correct pitch to specified class tolerances in accordance with requirements. Perform support activates to ensure the successful repair and modification of propellers. I am Visual Technical Inspection certified. And certified for 50ton crane and can operate overhead bridge and jib cranes for moving, flipping and positioning propellers and special tooling. Forklift certified and I also have a basic knowledge of hydraulics and electricity. I recently completed a Blueprint Reading Course from Olymic College. I also have a valid Washington state driver’s license and passport.
