2011 to 2012 Tidewater, New Orleans, LA – New Construction Site Manager- China
Supervise major vessel new construction projects including; Surveying the installation and commissioning of machinery, hull structures and safety equipment of vessels, inspection of shipyard work in progress, negotiation of how work will be done, work closely with contractors and suppliers in adversarial way to keep cost down. Evaluate and implement vessel building contract and specifications. Reports to home office work progress.
2010 to 2011: Davis H. Elliot Electrical Contractor, Baltimore, MD – Apprentice Lineman
Assist Journeyman Lineman in the construction, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical distribution lines. Operate aerial lift trucks assigned to the line crew, digger derricks to set poles and power hand tools in hazardous environments.
2010 to Present: Liberian International Ship and Corporate Registry – Nautical Inspector/Auditor
Inspect Liberian Flag vessels statutory certificates, class documents, safety equipment, hull and machinery at regularly scheduled flag state inspections. Responsible for conformation of Liberian Flag State laws and regulations are implemented onboard vessels. Report to the Liberian Registry the condition of the vessel.
1997 to 2007: American Bureau Of Shipping, Houston, TX - ABS Classification Surveyor
Perform surveys during and after construction of vessels hull, machinery and safety equipment according to international standards, statutory regulations and class rules. Report to Flag State and Classification Society and make recommendations to the vessel for acceptance into class.
1993 to 1997: Dixie Carriers Offshore, New Orleans, LA - Shipboard Engineer
Assist in the operation and maintenance of articulated tug and barge machinery including, Alco main propulsion engines, electrical distribution, lube oil and hydraulic systems. Engine room watch standing duties including emergency response to machinery malfunction and routine maintenance.

Led South Korean shipyard to be a premier organization in the fabricating of foreign classification, industry standard ships; provided strategic leadership and oversight for production efficiency, quality control and workmanship through targeted process improvement activities and strict requirements for accountability and production standards.
? Achieved promotion to Project Manager for exceptional performance, and a deep and rich understanding of commissioning vessels; acquired qualification for commissioning of the Marpol Annex II vessel, and collaborated with representatives from the ABS to organize all shipyard vessels.
