Experience


May 2003 – Feb 2007 Lockheed Martin Corporation. Sr. Field Engineer Provide naval port engineering services and logistical support to United State Coast Guard in support of the Deepwater Program specifically the 123’ Island class cutters and during the life time support operation cycle.



Oct 2002 – Feb 2003 Steris Corporation. Response Technician trained in the health care and scientific fields. Formally trained to perform maintenance to surgical tables, surgical lights, sterilizers, and decontamination equipment I provided service to several accounts in the South Florida Area. The formal certification came from the only available school in North America that teaches maintenance and repair to health care and scientific technicians.



Mar 2000 - Mar 2002 Patrick Power Corporation. Electrical Estimator/Scheduler. Estimating and scheduling of industrial, commercial and hotel electrical construction. Project Engineer assisted project management during construction work. Utilized graphical and computer expertise to provide company advertising and documentation.



Oct. 1999 - Feb 2000 American Express / CSR. Instructional Designer. Designed instructional material for training of new-hire personnel and knowledge based improvements for Interactive Services Representatives.



Apr 1999 - Sep 1999 Cedars Medical Center, Electromechanical Technician. Responsible for the maintenance of pneumatic tube system, Hill-Rom Advance 2000 and Advanced series beds, Siemens/Cerberus fire alarm system, and various electric motors, generators, automatic door systems and portable tools.



Jul 1996 - Apr 1999 Q.E.D. Systems Incorporated. Senior Engineering Technician-Supervised the development of design drawings, technical illustrations and compilation of logistical information. Conduct on-site visits to verify and validate documented procedures. Developed original technical documentation and instruction involving the operation, maintenance and testing of naval ship hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E), electronic, ordinance equipment and systems. Identify critical design and process improvements. Troubleshoot, as required, to determine cause of failure or malfunction, if machinery does not operate according to procedures.



Jul 1995 - Jul 1996 Metro Machine Corporation. First Class Marine Electrician. Performed maintenance, repair, modernization, installation, and testing on a wide variety of government ships, including Navy Combat support ships, destroyers and amphibious ships.



Jun 1975 - Jun 1995 completed a 20-year career as Chief Electrician's Mate in the U.S. Navy.



Naval Career Highlights:



Jan 1994 - Jun 1995 Senior Analyst- Managed 10 specialists in the collecting, arranging, and analyzing of management information for the repair facility. Responsible for the identification of undesirable trends and provide attainable maintenance planning solutions to production management. Prepared and provided process control charts and analytical evaluations. Designed, developed and trained task specific curricula to planners, estimators, and quality assurance inspectors.



Oct 1992 - Dec 1993 Motor Repair Shop Supervisor-Responsible for the management of 34 technicians assigned to disassemble, overhaul, repair, reassemble and final testing of electrical motors and generators. Developed repair procedures.



Oct 1990 - Sep 1992 Electrical Officer/Senior Enlisted Advisor - Managed and supervised a crew of 72. Directed a work center with an overall mission ensuring electrical power distribution systems/operation and maintenance and supporting mission capabilities in all electrical areas.



May 1987 - Sep 1990 Trainer/Evaluator- Designed, developed, and conducted Engineering Readiness Assessment and crew training. Technical training encompassing all non-nuclear areas of Naval Engineering Operating Procedures and Fleet Safety Requirements provided to crews of 43 diesel propelled platforms/vessels. Designation as Master Training Specialist was received.



May 1986 - Apr 1987 Shop Supervisor- Responsible for the supervision, performance and training of six technicians assigned to test (noise and vibration), analyze and balance electric motors, generators, steam turbines, pumps, and other rotating assemblies.
