Objective


A challenging position in technical operations, utilizing abilities developed through my experience and education with the opportunity for professional growth based on performance. Graduated Maritime Institute and Naval Academy in Constanta, Romania, holding Chief Electrical Engineer License since 1987, native Romanian moved to Florida in 1994, and US citizen. Fluent in Spanish, familiarized with computers, MS Office, Adobe, etc.


Experience


1982-1993 Navrom. Romanian Shipping Company, on board of various Ships: Cargo, Tankers, Ro-Ro, Passenger, Ferry, performed duties of Chief Electrical Engineer: coordinate crew for PM, troubleshoot and repair of electrical equipment.

1994-1997- Bernuth Lines. Marine Electrical Engineer, performed maintenance and repairs of Company’s vessels, in Ports and Dry-docks.

1998-2005- International Shipping Partners. Marine Electrical Engineer, repairs in Dry and Wet Docks: electrical, mechanical, structural and refurbishing.

2006-2008- Wilhelmsen/Callenberg Engineering. Marine Electrical Engineer

2008-2012- United Ship Service. Project Manager - plan, direct and coordinate activities designated to project, estimate and negotiate orders, assign and direct work, execute contracts in compliance with local, state and federal safety and environmental guidelines.

- I have the ability to analyze and interpret production schedules, budgets, manning requirements, engineering documents and technical procedures, to write routine reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals, ability to interpret technical instructions in schematic, blueprint, mathematical or diagram form.

Convention adopted by I.M.O and of its resolutions and SOLAS: Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Aboard Ships, Prevention and Fighting Marine Pollution from Ships, Use of Rescue Facilities and Fight for Survival at Sea, Medical Intervention in an Emergency, Handling and Transport of Dangerous Cargo, and Use of Radio Telephone.
