Objective
I like, no I need to explore the new and to develop and apply an analytical approach to achieve a specific outcome. I guess that is the reason why my CV illustrates a broad spectrum of positions I’ve held in different industries.
Second to this is my passion for sailing. I am mostly a dingy sailor but my wife and I also own a yacht. At Anchor Creek Marina I involved myself with the renovation of yachts (interior and exterior) as well as did re-designs on rudders and keels. The redesigns where done on the old trail and error basis. Each of my re-designs fortunately worked the first time by applying simple logics.
I hope to find a position that can satisfy both the respective company and myself by applying my analytical skills in the maritime industry.

Project management
I’ve managed a number of projects in the disciplines product designs, production set-up, aircraft engineering, information systems/technology (IS/IT) and large scale cross functional development and migration projects. Each project started at a different level of known information and therefore a number of projects required in depth research at inception. The research and analysis was performed on both tangible (Product design) and data based (Flight data used to determine customer flight preferences) inputs. The project teams I’ve managed to date varies from small (5-10) to large teams over multiple departments and companies. The team skills also varies from un-schooled (experience only) to aeronautical engineers and programmers with Doctorate degrees. Project scopes vary between single objectives to multiple disciplines and giving consideration to large scale strategies as set at CEO/board level. I also operate efficiently with the different Project Management Methodologies (i.e. PMBOK) and have managed large scale projects where different suppliers and/or in-house development methodologies (i.e. SCRUM) were used to obtain a single goal.
