A sole proprietorship providing consulting services to the maritime community, assisting in vessel employment changes, state flag changes, regulatory compliance audits, vessel management services, new construction, conversion, repair and refit. Significant recent projects include a flag state change requiring congressional action, Owner technical representation for Titan Corp. X-Craft (262’ x 72’ high speed catamaran) for the US Navy, built by Nichols Brothers, new product testing and trials director for US Marine, builder of Meridian, Maxum, Bayliner and Trophy recreational boats and a member of a three person team representing the San Francisco Water Transit Authority in their efforts to acquire two new passenger only fast ferries for service in San Francisco Bay by reviewing specifications, recommending builders, evaluating bids, qualifying builders, providing construction oversight, training operators and accepting vessels.
2003 to 2004
Position: Project Manager, Northern Marine, Inc.
One of two project managers for a world-class recreational yacht builder specializing in infused FRP expeditionary yachts to 154’ and mega-trawlers to 84’. Simultaneously managed new construction projects for three mega-trawlers, 76’-84’, valued at more than $12.5 million. Tracked production labor and materials to insure compliance with budgets and schedules. Specified and purchased all major vessel components. Supervised test and trials.
2001 to 2003
Position: Project Manager, Kvichak Marine Industries, Inc.
One of a team of four project managers for a commercial aluminum boat builder. Simultaneously managed multiple new vessel construction contracts valued at more than $6 million including the nations first CG inspected passenger hovercraft. Developed construction schedules using Microsoft Project. Monitored projects to ensure contract compliance, customer satisfaction and profitability.

Project manager for a $10.7 million luxury personal recreational submarine construction project for a company new to submarine construction.

Position: Estimator, Kvichak Marine Industries, Inc.
Sole estimator for a commercial aluminum boat builder. Company builds oil spill recovery, military, fishing, patrol, fire, pilot, research, passenger, ferry and municipal boats from 16' to 80' on fixed price contracts.

Directed all aspects of construction, design changes, regulatory agency approval, testing, sea trials, and delivery/post delivery commissioning of a fleet of 48 passenger, electric powered tourist submarines.
