As company Project Manager, I am responsible for all phases of construction. Duties include all planning, ordering, scheduling and progress reports as required of the project. Responsible for coordinating company personnel, all sub-contractors, ABS Inspections, ship’s surveyors, electronics, interior furniture, power systems, engines and drives, and finish on a full custom 129ft. Expedition Yacht “Safira”, a “Green” yacht. I also work closely with the Naval Architects, the Owner, the Owner’s representative and Captain of the vessel.

Was responsible for all aspects of project management regarding refits to all types of vessels. This consists of estimating all of the vessels work at/ or prior to arrival, budgets, tracking labor reports, scheduling of outside venders/ sub contractors, direct contacts with customer representatives, monthly billing and final funding of work at completion while working with multiple projects.

I began as a Quality Control Inspector on the line and was moved to Quality Assurance/ Delivery Team Specialist. I am responsible for: completing a total marine survey of each vessel along with the initial start up and commissioning sea trials; conducting vibration tests and sound decibel readings throughout the boat; confirming that all of the correct equipment, appliances and soft goods have been installed and are operational; inventorying all soft goods and onboard gear, organizing ship’s manuals, delivering and stowing them aboard; scheduling the final inspection and acceptance sea trial with the customer’s representative; all steps of acceptance paperwork including forwarding it to the sales department for the final funding of the vessel.

Responsible for a complete marine survey of vessels during and after the construction phase has been completed, ensuring that the boat was built to the criteria as specified by the drawings. I was also responsible for the commissioning and preliminary sea-trials by completing engine performance analysis, vibration and noise decibel readings throughout the vessel.
