[“Dunarea de Jos” University, Galatzi – Romania,
Faculty of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering
Specialized In “Special Shipbuilding and Offshore Platforms”]
My final thesis was: “Vessel Design and Construction Industry with full line of marine CAD/CAM software called AUTOSHIP which assists naval architect and builders in the design and construction of vessels from Basic Design up to Work Shop Drawings for one Feeder Container Vessel – 850 TEU”.
(Autoship - to design the vessel hull. Autopower is used to determine resistance and powering requirements. Autohydro is used for stability and strength assessment, while Autoplate takes care of the plate expansion process. Autostructure is used to design the internal structure of the vessel and Production Manager for nesting parts and stock management.)
