Project Director: Experienced leader with 10+ years of sea time, including Command Afloat; Led crews of 3 different cutters to Middle East/Persian Gulf, Africa, Far East, Caribbean, Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska and Eastern Pacific to enforce U.S. laws and regulations/support national security objectives/fight the Global War on Terrorism; Created, justified, managed $125K budgets and million dollar projects - $1.2 million drydock project contract in 2008; Project Lead for Coast Guard input to tri-service (USN, USMC, USCG) Naval Operations Concept strategy document. Meshed ends, ways, means of service chief level initiatives resulted in clearly articulated capabilities and benchmarked sea service contributions to National Defense missions.



Policy Analyst: Envisioned, developed, and vetted operational tasking and global partnership commitments in support of Coast Guard Senior Field Commander and DOD Geographic Combatant Commander Strategic Theater Engagement Plans. Effectively meshed US International Strategy with DHS/USCG mission objectives; Researched, developed and implemented new tactical training methodology for Coast Guard Pacific Area cutters – significant positive fleet-wide impact improving operational/crew readiness.



Human Resource Manager: Strong background in federal recruiting/ hiring practices; conducted in-person interviews for USCG Direct Commission, Warrant Officer and Officer Candidate applicants in accordance with established hiring criteria; Professionally developed, assigned, guided careers for hundreds of Navy/Coast Guard subordinates.



Training Specialist: Managed training of over 2500+ Navy/Coast Guard sailors in seamanship, navigation, combat systems, communication, casualty control, ship survivability, anti-terrorism/force protection; Personally mentored/advised Commanding Officers on best training practices, operational tactics, risk management and breaking human error chains; certified the proficiency of over 20+ Coast Guard cutters in complex integrated/multi-mission exercises as Pacific Area Commander’s direct representative.
