Nature of work
• Wellhead control operation and maintenance, CPF outside operation of crude separation unit, Monitoring equipments like Free water knock out drum, Electro Static Dehydrator, Desalter, Degasser, De salinator etc. Regular checking of Oil export, pig launcher and receiver, Chemical injection, Gas treatment, Glycol regeneration, Gas compressor, Gas export / Flare.
• Well choke changing (GOR & Production control), SSV / SSSV operation, Panel board (Baker, Autocon, Brisco Makes), X-Mas tree operation, STHP / FTHP (pressure) checking, Manifold operation, Well completion, Well testing, Well work over, Well actuation, Testing of Down Hole Equipments, string making etc.
• Inspecting of Crude gathering stations, Gas boot and free water knockout tank, Dehydration tank, Desalination Tank, Produced water tank, Skimmer tank, Storage tanks, Emulsion treatment by electrostatic heater – treater, De emulsifier injection pumps, Injection rates, Oil shipment, Crude transfer pumps, Last automotive custody transfer (LACT) unit, Booster pumps.
• Operation of Separators (High, Medium & Low Pressure). Selection of separators depends upon the well pressure. Taking separators for maintenance and put back the unit in to operation after maintenance. Operating of various control units like pressure control, level control units and safety devices, trip systems.
• Overall control of Produced water treatment and disposal, Water injection, Fresh water maker, Fuel gas, Sea water, Potable water, Instrument Air, Closed drains, Heating medium, Diesel centrifuge, sewage treatment, De electro chlorinator, Fire and gas detection and fire fighting.
• Preparing production reports, Well test data entry, SCADA and DCS System (Elsag –Bailey infi 90 & Moore Process Suite) operations. Handling plant safety equipments, following emergency producers, Conversant handling of crude stabilization units etc.
• Isolation and de isolation of different types of compressors like Reciprocating, Centrifugal and Screw type, capacities varying from 40 MMSFD to 200 MMSCFD. Handling of Gas Turbines and Gas Engines, Turbine compressor washing, Start-stop logic, Recycle and Anti-surge functions, Scrubbers, Auxiliary pumps, Heat exchangers etc.
• Operating Glycol Regeneration Unit, Reflex condensers, Flash Tanks, sock Filters, Carbon Filters, Glycol to Glycol Exchangers, Still Column, Re-boilers, surge Vessels, Glycol pumps, Glycol contactors, Lean and rich Glycol Sampling, Maintaining Re-boiler temperature, Glycol pH Value etc. Handled Gas up to capacity of 200 MMSCFT/Day.
• Operation of Purge Gas Hydrogen Recovery System, Monitoring Shut down & Start – up works & DCS Panel operations.
• Following proper rules and regulations and training others while entering into a Hazardous area for disconnecting and reconnecting a line, vessels, equipments which may have flammable liquids/ toxic / poisonous gas, welding and cutting in the hazardous equipment etc. i.e. following proper work permit systems.
• Following good Safety systems and Practices like Offshore emergency drills, Coxswain training, Permit to work system, H2S monitoring, Fire Gas detection system, Fire water deluge system, Fire fighting drills, Weekly toolbox safety meeting, Preparation of near miss reports, PPE usage, House keeping, Loss prevention suggestions etc.
• Injection Rate Calculations, Monitoring Oil Shipment, Crude transfer Pumps, LACT (Last Automative Custody Transfer) Unit, Booster pump, Water Injection Pumps, LACT meter proving, Shipping pumps trouble shooting as per cause and effect logics, PIG launching & Receiving, Preparation of production reports, Well test data entry, SCADA and DCS operations.
• Monitoring proper Chemical injection in De emulsifier, pour Point depressant (P.P.D). Oil corrosion inhibiter, Gas corrosion inhibiter, antifoam, P.H Control, Methanol, etc.
• Taking care of all the pumps, compressors, valves, dosing pumps, air dryers, pneumatic and hydraulic packs, air and hydraulic oil leak check and informing, pressure & level checking. Educate all towards safe and healthy working atmosphere.

? Tank form
Handling of Floating roof tanks, Cone roof, Dome roof tanks for kerosene, Diesel, Crude, ATF. Sphere, bullets storage for LPG, Propylene gases.
? Separators:
Operation of 2- phase / 3-phase Separators, level, pressure checking, Flow checking, changing the orifice of Gas Lines. Operation of Orifice chambers, and Test Separator operation, Well diversion Manifold operation. Well chock Bean changing (fixed & adjustable) water & Oil flow meter “0” checking (Totalizer, Turbine flow meters). Stock checking operation of PCV, LCV, FCV, in field operation and sampling of oil, water, gas & Chemicals.
? Gas De-Hydration:
Operation of Dehydration (Glycol, Dehydration & Using dryer system). Handling of Glycol contactor, Circulation pumps, Flash drum, Surge drums start up of Reboiler, Burners, Dryer regeneration operation, Dryer pressurizing & Depressurizing and maintaining temperatures.
? Gas Processing Plant/Gas Injection Plant
Gas Processing & Gas Injection Plant with gas processing capacity of 250 MMSCFD and gas injection capacity of 200MMSCFD. Well experienced in start up, shut down and normal operating the plant.
? Inst Air System :
Handling 2 / 3 stage Reciprocating Air Compressors single and multi stage Centrifugal air compressors. Handling of Instrument air dryer and Dryer regeneration system, Filters and Air regulators.
? Handling Safety Equipments:
Handling of Fire hydrant, Fire hose, Fire nozzle, Fire monitors, (using form water System). Dry chemical powder, Fire extinguishers, Co2 Fire extinguishers and Sod acid extinguishers.
Handling LEL Meters, Gas detectors, Flame detectors, Smoke detectors and handling of all Safety equipments. Handling of Emergency shutdown (E.S.D), fire shut down (F.S.D) actuating.

AVON / RB-211 gas generation unit, ROLLS ROYCE power turbine unit (3units each of 15MW capacity), DRESSER – RAND centrifugal compression system (3 units each of 100MMSCFD capacity) with discharge pressure of 5700Psig.
AIR PACK instrument air compression system, Nitrogen generation unit, Emergency power generation system. Fire water system, Fire and gas detector system (Silver tech) Pig launching / pig receiving unit. ICS TRIPLEX emergency shut down system.
Responsibilities Undertaken as a Process Operator / Supervisor
Reporting daily shift activities to Superior - Preparing midnight readings of Chemicals, Temperature, Pressure, Level and Shift status reports are sending through E-mail to Superior.
Reporting and recording of equipment and instrument defects, unwanted noises and leaks immediately to Superior and take possible correct action.
Checking and recording the plant log sheet each and every day and noting the readings such as Oil and Gas flow, temperature, pressure, level, consumptions etc.
Start-up and shutdown the equipment as necessary for maintenance work in a safe manner.
Monitoring and Recording of all chemical, lubricant and fuel usage to ensure optimum equipment performance.
Reporting all safety issues changes in well operating conditions and equipment malfunctions immediately to the site Supervisor or shift Supervisor and taking corrective actions.
Perform tasks and duties as directed by the site Supervisor or shift Superior.
Recording unusual occurrences after reporting them to Superior.
Maintaining a high level housekeeping throughout the operation at all times.
