Objective
To Provide Clients with Contract (IRS 1099) Professional and Technical Waste Management, Environmental, Transportation & Logistical Services.
Experience
Mr. Wallace has over 25 years experience in solid waste and
recycling management, transportation/logistical
management, sales, marketing and operations, 3PL (Third
Party Logistics) WastebyRail program management, recycling
/ solid waste program planning and development. Bob has
expertise in the areas of waste collection, disposal and
transportation rate and contract negotiations, strategic
business planning and conducting both solid waste
collections and transfer station operational performance
assessments. He has extensive experience in working with
clients in both the private and public sectors.
Wallace’s depth of project management experience includes
the oversight of solid waste and recycling collection
operations, fleet & stationary equipment maintenance,
equipment and services procurement, finance, human
resources, business development, sales, safety and
environmental compliance and maintaining responsibility for
multi-million dollar publicly and privately held assets
including: MRFs, transfer stations, WastebyRail intermodal
facilities, regional trucking operations, bulk and containerized
MSW barging operations, recycling centers, material
recovery facilities, vehicle and, maintenance facilities.
Prior to WIH Resource Group (WIH), Wallace served as the
Director of Transportation & Logistics for Waste
Management, the largest provider of waste management
and recycling services in North America. He was responsible
for implementing both company-wide collection vehicle
routing and Business Improvement Process (BIP) initiatives.
He led efforts to improve underperforming company assets
in their solid waste and recycling business units. He
managed a $100 million dollar annual budget for waste
transportation services. His responsibilities included rate
negotiations and contract performance compliance for over
125 subcontracted multi-modal transportation companies.
Wallace previously served as a board member for the Arizona
Chapter of SWANA and serves on the National Solid Waste
Rate Committee for the American Public Works Association
(APWA). He is also a former board member of the California
Refuse and Recycling Association’s (CRRA) Global Recycling
Council (GRC).
