Overview: I retired (for the 2nd time, the 1st was after Vietnam from wounds received in combat) from the US Marine Corps on 1 August 2005, with over 33 years of active duty. I came to Hawaii following active duty where I am currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Although I'm in a most historical place and still have daily interface with the military, I miss doing the "real" things in life, as I was charged with doing while on active duty.

I have nearly thirteen years of Counter-Terrorism, Anti-Terrorism and Force Protection experience. From 2000 to 2003 I was the Fleet Marine Officer for 7th Fleet, out of Yokuska, Japan, where I was the senior Marine aboard the USS BLUE RIDGE. My last duty was as the Assistant Chief of Staff, Operations and Training, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.

If you have any "operational" type positions, particularly dealing with Homeland Defense, I would desire to talk with you. I have a special skill set of working Port Vulnerability Security Assessments, which I have done all over Asia, Australia and the USA.

Please reply if you have interest in my future service to our Country.
