Officer in charge of engineering department. 12,000HP, 4160v Diesel electric drive. Motor plant. Conduct fuel, oil, drilling fluid, and dry bulk bunkering and de-bunkering operations. Carried out all daily, monthly, and annual maintenance and inspections. Mechanical/electrical/pneumatic on-the-spot repairs. Ran periodic safety and testing procedures outlined by American Bureau of Shipping.  Keep current with all USCG as well as EPA rules and regulations. Operation and maintenance of Oily Water Separation units. Lead engineering department through ABS, USCG, and companywide internal and external audits.

Day worker in charge of engine periodic tests and tune-ups, conducted Fuel/oil transfers, and bunkering events. Worked on deck machinery and flash type evaporators.

Steam turbine generator operation and maintenance, reciprocating, positive displacement, and centrifugal pump operation and maintenance. Involved in Boiler light off and building/breaking vacuum.
