I love to fix machinery. After 30 years of doing this while sailing on board I am firmly planted in Seattle. If I can help with related work, or managing the maintenence and machinery history while mainly staying in Seattle I am ready to put in another 10 years.

Associates degree from Great Lakes Maritime Academy, graduated top of engineering class, various continuing education courses/ seminars/ training courses
Certification
USCG Chief Engineers License, unlimited HP, steam, motor, gas turbine. STCW, TWIC, MMD, IGS/COW, firefighting
Skils
I consider myself a decent welder, can run a lathe on an intermediate level, have 30 years of operation and maintenence of steam and diesel equipment to 70,000 hp. I have computer skills and communicate well. I am personable. I have used a few machinery history software products, most recently ABS NS5. I am familiar with ABS classification procedures, shipyard spec writing and daily management of projects. I have experience with USCG on various levels.
