Experience
Kooheji Contractors W.L.L (Aug 2008 till present)
Working as a Site Engineer since January 2009 in US Naval Base.
Main responsibilities:
?To plan, organize and oversee the construction and operation by leading a team of supervisors to ensure smooth and efficient running of the civil projects,
?Giving appropriate solutions to engineering problems that may occur during execution of projects,
?To carry out designing of shop drawings for construction of structures and as-built after completion,
?Coordinating with the Public Works Department of US Navy on design development and construction details through fortnightly meetings,
?Verifying the sub-contractors’ progress claims and carrying out final work measurements.
?Reporting the monthly progress of the project to the senior management.
Worked as QS cum Site Engineer since August 2008 to December 2008 for the construction of 4 towers of 41-storey each.
Main responsibilities:
?Monitoring the entire cost of the project at execution level.
?Formation of sub-contracts,
?To perform liaison with sub-contractors involved in the project,
?Preparation of weekly progress report and present it to the management.
?Occasionally, supervising the Assistant Engineers, Civil Supervisors and the other lower staff,
?Occasionally, preparation of the project plans and schedules and assigning job to the subordinates.
Scott Wilson Limited (Jan 2008 – Aug 2008)
Worked as an Assistant Resident Engineer since January 2008 to August 2008 at Karachi port, Pakistan.
Supervising China Harbor Engineering Company (Contractor) for Phase-III Expansion project of Karachi International Container Terminal. The company engaged its single wing "Marine Engineering" where I have to assist RE & CRE for Quay wall Contract and Yard & Facilities Contract.
Main responsibilities:
Quay Wall Contract
•to inspect site works which includes both deep and shallow foundation, driving of steel tubular piles, construction of capping beam, anchor wall, bored pile for QC crane, fixing of QC crane rail system, installation of tie-rods with post-tensioning, installation of Quay furniture (fenders, bollards and ladders)
Yard & Facilities Contract
•RTGC runways, container stacking area, service corridor for utilities, installation of light masts, construction of sub-stations, rigid and flexible pavements etc
Planning & Material Section
•To update monthly progress report; directly report to CRE.
•To check earthworks and material inspection under supervision of material engineer.
