To obtain a Shore Based position which allows me to utilize and improve my Engineering, Business, and Leadership training.
Experience
Ships Chief Engineer Officer (Steam Propulsion), Engineer Officer in a Guided Missile Cruiser, Tactical Oilier and Aircraft Carrier. Directed operation and maintenance of main propulsion, auxiliary and electrical power generation equipment. In each case, I greatly improved plant reliability, economy, and personnel performance. Managed over 700 personnel, controlled a 10 million dollar annual maintenance budget, 750 K dollar spare parts budget, and multi-millions of dollars in fuel, oils, water, and equipment. Directed all safety, training and maintenance related programs, improving accountability and efficiency.
