QUALIFICATIONS
Over 28 years of comprehensive experience in the maritime transportation industry including 16 years sea-going service on dry cargo vessels of various categories and 12 years associated with Government Maritime Safety and Port State inspections, casualty investigations and private sector marine insurance inspections and underwriting/loss adjustments of various cargoes/commodities. Also worked hands on ,in the offshore industry in the capacity of Master i.e. Rigs & O.S.V's.
EXPERIENCE:
Involved in conducting marine /cargo inspections on board vessels and at premises of the consignees, for international clients. Conducted joint inspections/ adjustments/loss assesment.Generated reports supported with photographic illustrations for clients.
Principal technical Inspector - conducted inspections relating to cargo loading/discharge& damage /adjustments/loss assesments for international P & I clubs (protection & indemnity); generated comprehensive written reports supported with photographs. Provided expert testimonies in disputed/arbitration cases.
Nautical Surveyor – G.O.I.- Conducted Port State Control inspections, SOLAS. Marine damage surveys and evaluations.
Sea Service - Ten (10) years experience from Cadet to Chief Mate on various types of dry cargo vessels (o.b.o./bulk carriers with grain/lentel shipments) on unlimited foreign going trades. Over (15) years service as Master on various types of vessels trading worldwide with unlimited tonnage/ offshore industry.
CREDENTIALS:
Graduated as Master Mariner - unlimited/unrestricted - British Commonwealth validity.
Graduated as Master Mariner - unlimited/unrestricted - Liberia Maritime Affairs.
Radar Observer, Radar Simulator and ARPA.
Proficiency in survival craft.
Certificate as surveyor and loss adjuster GOI.
Presently Employed with G4S -Certified as C.P.O.
