Objective
My heart is the sea. the open water brings a calm to me and i dont feel myself with out it. i would like to live ,work and sail the seas once more doing any and everything to better myself at sea.

- Assistant Day Crew Supervisor -
As a vital link to command mission readiness, I successfully lead sixteen (16) of VFA 115s line division’s most junior personnel charged with performing daily/turnaround inspections, launches, recoveries and servicing twelve (12) F/A-18E Super Hornet Aircrafts. My efforts played a role to the command achieving and 99% sortie completion rate, while safely amassing more than 1,887 sorties during four (4) FRP detachments (Middle Eastern deployment).
- Prepared F/A-18E Super Hornet aircraft for flight -
Set up of switches in the aircraft cockpits. Servicing of aircraft emergency hydraulic systems & servicing of the oil unit. Made sure the PSI in the Auxiliary Power Unit was correct. Pulling out emergency pins of the wings, landing gear, canopy jettison and seat jettison. Pushing in all circuit breakers to enable the jet to fly. Pre-flight inspection of aircraft.
- Launched and recovered F/A-18E Super Hornet aircraft -
As a qualified Plane Capitan, I communicated with pilot via hand signals to start & go through the online pre-operational check lists. As a qualified final checker, I assured aircraft catapult hookup & pre-flight inspection. With my approval the jet is allowed to launch. For recovering, I communicated with the pilot via hand signals for pre-shutdown check lists.
- Cleaned and maintained F/A-18E Super Hornet aircraft -
I Completed weekly cleaning of twelve (12) F/A-18E Aircrafts. I did fourteen (14) day inspections consisting of the integrity of the aircraft.
