Objective


My experience as a Master of the MV Yeoman Bridge and Yeoman Bontrup/both DW 96,772 mt, gave me the skills to operate a vessel that uses both bow and stern thrusters allowing me to moor/maneuvering without the use of tugs.

Skils


• Over 30 years marine and ocean experience with a full spectrum of vessels and related operations.

• Experience as a Marine Safety and Quality S/intendant more than 7 years, carrying out ISM, ISPS, SEP, ISO 14001, ISO 9000 Audits of the different vessels and Office for Environmental Compliance as well.

• A Master Mariner with wide sea going experience operating in a wide variety of vessels. Very adaptable with excellent motivational and management skills.

• Gained extensive experience in managing the panamax/capesize vessels with thrusters without tugs, depending on port able to operate the vessel without pilot where it is not compulsory.

• Attained skills in utilizing electronic, dead reckoning and pilotage techniques of navigation.

• Conducted investigations to determine the cause and effect of vessels involved in boating mishaps.

• Consulted clients on vessel repairs, maintenance and safety related items.

• Supervised multinational crews and was responsible for overall vessel operations, safety, sanitation, and deck maintenance.

• Assessment the vessel before taking under Management.

• .Dry Docking Inspections, modification, converting the vessel as selfunloaders.

• Marine Superintendent for 12 vessels/Class NKK, LR. Duties included:

• day to day operations and implementation of ISM, ISPS codes and internal audits.

• Formulization and implementation a new maritime safety and cargo operation policies and procedures.

• Inspection ships for safety, compliance of regulations, purchase, damage, cargo and hull damage, maintenance and if suitable for new trades.

• Worldwide supervision of ships especially in the bulkers, containers, tankers, passengers and cargo vessels.

• Extensive operation development and trouble shooting;

• Dealing with port authorities, harbor’s masters, pilots, ship owners, and mariners.

• Conducted investigations to determine the cause and effect of vessels involved in boating mishaps.
