Fuel Cell Technician



I reported to the Fuel Cells Shop Chief as a Fuel Cells Technician and inspected fuel cells and diagnosed malfunctions on such systems as integrally sealed tanks, fuselages, fuel cells and external tanks. I Located fuel leaks by visual inspection or by removing closure panels and tracing leaks using standard leak detection procedures. Disassembles, reassembles, repairs, replaces/installs components such as manifolds, and interconnects valves, pumps, and attachments. Removed, repairs and replaces bladder cells. Repairs integral tanks and conducts tests on installed or repaired equipment. I’m Responsible for conducting Customer training, to include OJT, and maintenance of training records for the Fuel Cells Shop. Performs other related duties as directed. I’m able to speak, read, comprehend and write English clearly and distinctly also able to troubleshoot fuel cells, diagnose malfunctions, affect necessary repairs, and perform in-shop repair of C-130 auxiliary bladder cells. I’m qualified and capable of providing necessary job training to the Customer. Completion of basic aircraft fuel cells maintenance course. I have working knowledge of aircraft maintenance forms, records and reports to meet the job standards prescribed by the Royal Saudi Air Force. I’m Knowledgeable of aircraft fuel cells operation and internal fuel tank hardware such as interconnects, lines, valves, gauges, pumps and other attachments, sealing material characteristics and rubber products associated with fuel cell maintenance.

Responsible for photographing parts that’s being manufacture in the United States and copying work instructions, drawings, and creating them electronically for companies and responsible for the quality and quantity of the work of the operators assigned.

Repair And Property Control Technician Repaired Rubber Aerospace Fuel Cells and Bladders Painted Fuel Cells.



Painted the fuel cells with system one and two paint including some with nylon paint according to manufacturing specification.

Injecting Fuel and Bladder cells with the proper cements, needles that’s required for that cell according to specification.

Test cells with jet fuel an air soap cells to make sure that there are no leaks in or out of that cell.

Manufacturers fittings by NP-474-5 specification that goes into cells that hooks up in the aircraft

Inspected Fuel Cells by verifying fit and interchangeability using Fit Check Fixtures, Jigs, Templates and inspecting fuel cells for defects that has to be repaired before the cell is ready for fuel or soap test.

Packed and ship hazardous material per DOT Requirements

Repaired these types of fuels cells(C-130’s, F18, F15, F16, KC-130, 135, A10 DCH’s, Bells, and EA6B’s MH’s.

Assisted in the control of Government and Company property by inspecting their tools and transferring them with a flat bed truck and move them in the warehouse with a forklift. The tools was inspected according to specification by the Government and the other Companies tools that I controlled such as North Grumman, Bell Canada, Boeing, MD Helicopter, Offshore, Sikorsky, Derco, Learjet, and Unisource.
