DESINIGATION                       :   QA /QC COATING INSPECTOR (site inspector)

Responsibilities (ship yards-marine coating)

• Implementation of QA/QC procedure and Quality Plans.
• Carrying out QC activities for Industrial coating works including review project specifications, comply with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and adhere to the related safety requirements as per the project specification.
• Conversant with all nondestructive/destructive inspection instruments but not limited to Whirling Hygrometer, Steel Temperature Gauge, Dew Point Calculator, relative humidity calculator/table, Blotter Test, Surface Profile Gauges, Profile Comparators, Needle Pressure Gauges, Magnetic DFT Gauges, Holiday Detectors etc.
• Qualitative/quantitative testing, Sieve Analysis for Blasting Abrasive, Blotter Test, Chloride Test, Coating Adhesion Test, DFT measurement, Hardness Test etc.
• Coordination with client representatives, Inspection agency and Sub-contractor related to all quality assurance and quality control matters.
• Leading the inspection team for adherence of projects quality procedures, specifications of ongoing project including quality, safety & etc. 
• Planning, initial set-up of equipment, materials and instruments for projects execution.
• Ensure the company’s Procedures, Project Specifications & procedures are understood and adhered to by the site personnel.
• Preparation of quality control documents, verification product data sheets, MSDS and calibration certificates, preparing Weekly & Monthly Reports for Management and Clients, Weekly Meeting with Clients for Technical Clarification/Punch List clearance/Rectification of Deficiencies if any.
• Maintain and preparation of QC documentation such as instruments calibration certificates, Material Safety Data Sheets, Technical Data Sheets, QC Reports, etc.
• Inspection of incoming materials.
• Preparation of daily painting / pinhole / holiday report and submitting for client

       Responsibilities (cryogenic tanks and piping-protective coating)

• Coatings and Insulation Inspector for GASCO PROJECT. Duties are performing surface contamination, surface profile inspection, checking weather conditions, ambient, humidity, dew point, and surface temp. Over see job planning. Fill out and file daily inspection reports, including dft readings, wft readings, experienced in working with dehumidifier's. Responsible for maintenance coatings in the pipe racks on pipe weld's and scratch marks. Tracking finished job applications.
• Oil & gas coatings application , safety procedure, surface preparation of structural steels, Bridge inspections & shop inspection on coatings application with reference to specified standard, material selection, anchor profile, coatings scheduling & scope of work, QA/ QC on all coatings job, documentation & pre-cleaning of surface prior to blast cleaning, familiar with NACE, SSPC, ASMT & ISO standards, pipeline coatings & corrosion control techniques
• Carrying out QC activities for Industrial coating works including review project specifications, comply with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and adhere to the related safety requirements as per the project specification.

• Liaise with QC Engineer and client representative for day-to-day quality related activities of   the project/ onshore.
• Witness for strip coating & holiday testing.
• Witness for Cathode protection.
• Preparing the project close out documents
• Preparing various documents such as coating inspection report prior to endorsement to the client and Project Management Team (PMT) to raise Request for Inspection (RFI) for final acceptance.

TECHNICALSKILL

• Flexibility in using measuring equipment and calibration of all Coating  equipments
