outdoor marina services manager

Objective


To learn as much as possible about the marine industry with a well established company. And to relocate to a more favorable location.


Experience


Started at a local Cobalt/Crownline dealer on a medium sized Iowa lake as a boat rental associate in 2000, then moved to rentals manager in 2002. Took a full time position as a parts associate/customer service in 2003, then was promoted to parts manager in 2005. Recently moved into Outdoor Services Manager in the spring of 2007, my duties include hiring personnel for boat rentals and gas service. Coordinating all deliveries of new boats and serviced boats. Overseeing the in/out dry storage, and also working the parts and accessories counter. I have a lot of experience and general knowledge with Mercury and Volvo stern drives, as well as Yamaha 2 and 4 stroke watercraft. I enjoy working closely with customers to ensure their satisfaction.


Education


4 year letter winner at Clear Lake High School graduating in 2001. Went to local comm. college studying business management. Took a full time position with my current employer in 2003. Always ready to take more schooling.


Certification


Shorestation certified tech. Mercury certified. and have attended various Yamaha service seminars. US Coast certified.


Skils


Enjoy working with closely with customers on a daily basis. Excellent people skills. Very experienced with the operations of most single and twin engine boats and some sail boats. Knowledgeable with heavy equipment, forklifts, skidloaders, trucks and trailers.


 


Looking to dedicate myself to learning as much as possible about the marine industry. And to relocate to a more favorable latitude.
